How often do you release new collections?

We release new collections a few times a year, but are constantly adding new styles to each collection as time goes on. Months of development and incorporating customer feedback go into the release of a new collection, and we don't want to shortchange that process! But we do want your shades to feel unique, so once a collection sells out we move on to the next one.

How can I find out about new releases?

New collections will be available on our website before you find them anywhere else - so be sure to check back! And if you want to be among the very first to know when the next collections and styles will be released, just sign up for the La Brea Journal, where we share behind-the-scenes info and advanced looks at new projects.


When will my order be shipped?

We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on weekdays after 12PM PST, on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

Can I change my address or edit my order once its been placed?

Let us know you’d like to make a change to your order by emailing us at Although we try to ship things out as quickly as possible, we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes to your order.


How can I return or exchange my order? 

It’s easy! You can start your return or exchange here.

La Brea offers free returns on all U.S. orders made within 30 days of purchase from If you are not satisfied with your La Brea eyewear, you can easily return or exchange them within 30 days of purchase.

Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging. Returns must be sent back within 30 days of your request, and will be processed within 2-3 weeks of receiving them. Please note that items purchased during a sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Can I return frames that I received as a gift? 

You sure can. Email us at with the purchaser’s full name and the names of the items you’d like to return. Frames that are received as gifts are only eligible for an exchange or store credit.


Does your eyewear have a warranty? 

We’re proud to offer a one-year warranty on every pair of La Brea eyewear. If, at any time, you find a manufacturing flaw or defect in your pair of La Brea shades, we’ll replace or repair them for free.

Just email us at and include your original order number as well as a photo of the damage. Our team will quickly get back to you and ask that you mail in your broken or damaged frames. We promise we’ll get you back in a new pair in no time.
